Drunk Captain Grounds Ship in Sweden
On Sunday afternoon, the 90-meter-long Malta-registered cargo ship Kaisa was due in the port of Helsingborg, Sweden.
However, that afternoon the Swedish Coast Guard's command center received an alarm that the vessel had run aground in the entrance to Helsingborg's bulk port.

Shortly before the alarm was received, the vessel had its own power backed by the shoal. Coast Guard Air Patrol 501 arrived on scene and found that no oil leaked from the ship in distress.
Police were called as the ship's commander turned out to be heavily intoxicated.
