Watermaker Built Specifically for the Oil & Gas Market
The extreme and often formidable environment of offshore oil and gas operations demands equipment that's up to the challenge. FCI Watermakers' new Neptune+ OG is designed and built specifically for severe conditions, whether on a platform, tanker, carrier or PSV. The rugged and reliable unit will make from 3,400 to 10,000 gallons of pure, fresh water a day, enough for production operations, equipment wash down, laboratory use, cooking and drinking.
Numerous enhanced features set the Neptune+ OG apart. Its 316 stainless steel or 6061 aluminum alloy frame has built-in lifting eyes and forklift slots for easy placement. It boasts a Class 1 Division II NMEA 4X-compliant stainless steel hazardous location electrical enclosure; explosion-proof ratings are available. The continuous-duty, maintenance-free, direct-drive motor is totally enclosed and fan-cooled. The new model adds increased pre-filtration, first with a 25 micron bag, followed with 120 sq. ft. of 5 micron pleated cartridges.
The Neptune+ OG comes with the industry leading V4 control system. Using the intuitive 7" Bridge Classified touchscreen display that's marine-certified for temperature extremes, the innovative watermaker is easily programmed. With its Automatic Pressure Control (APC), it will make water, run diagnostics, shut down, perform a fresh water flush and bring itself back online—all automatically.
Commercial mariners appreciate that the Neptune+ OG bears type approval certification from ABS, GL, Lloyd's Register EMEA, Det Norske Veritas and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The unit can be built to any classification or standard required. Like all FCI Watermakers, it uses only non-proprietary parts.
No stranger to commercial marine, FCI Watermakers has for over 30 years manufactured the most advanced, trouble-free watermaking systems for workboats, merchant and naval fleets, and the maritime petroleum industry. It has a global network of authorized dealers and distributors.
