Maersk Training Examines Feasibility of Training Center in Tenerife

Capt. Antonio M. Padrón, IMO Maritime Ambassador, held a meeting with Mr Claus Bihl, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MAERSK TRAINING to analyze the feasibility of establishing an International Training Center in Dynamic Positioning in Tenerife.

The IMO Maritime Ambassador and Mr. Bihl also held a meeting with H.E. Carlos Alonso, President of the Government of Tenerife, and visited the facilities where the Training Center could be located. They were accompanied by representatives of the Port Authority, University of Tenerife and the Spanish Maritime Safety and Rescue Agency (SASEMAR).
