Upon the retirement of Hans Stoop, his successor Hilka Willms, will maintain the continuity of GBS representation in BeNeLux. Hilka’s experience on both sides of the ship repair business starting with a decade-long career at a respected ship repair yard in the Netherlands followed by ship repair yard representation experience, allows for a unique understanding of the industry that will serve our clients’ well.
The yard’s strategic location just 93 nm east of Miami, Florida USA is in close vicinity to the Gulf of Mexico, Panama Canal, and situated along major shipping lanes. The year-round fine weather conditions make GBS the ideal location for docking, repair, upgrade and conversion of vessels from the cruise, commercial and off shore segments of the maritime industry.
