ADA Shipyard Launches M/F "LOSNA"
M/F LOSNA - Car/Passenger Ferries are built by ADA Shipyard for one of the leading Ferry operators in Norway, FJORD1 AS, has been launched with ceremony on 28 May 2016.
Two Car/Passenger Ferries have been designed to carry 60 cars – 195 passengers, to allow loading/unloading of passengers and cars via ramps on each end, to provide high maneuverability at harsh sea/weather conditions by its special propulsion system and also designed with great concern for the comfort of passengers and disabled guests onboard.
The construction of launching Vessel were started in September 2015 and it has been a great success for our Yard to perform its launching within such a short period, 8 months. There will be 2 months gap with the first launched Vessel and the first Vessel have now been prepared for her sea trial. The Vessels will be delivered by July 2016 and September 2016 subsequently.
