Video: LNG Tanker Crew Rescues Whale

[Brief] On Wednesday, crewmembers of the Algerian LNG tanker Cheikh El Mokrani rescued a whale that had been caught in a fishing net, with assistance from a crewmate who dove off the vessel's deck to lend a hand. The evolution took several minutes, with a patient whale (and a stationary vessel) standing by while the crew worked to pull the net loose.

While the video's caption does not specify the vessel's location, her AIS signal put her off the coast of Algeria on Tuesday.
