In five weeks’ time, over 500 Supply Chain Leaders from North America’s leading petrochemical producer firms, descend on Houston to attend the most high-profile and biggest petrochemical supply chain event in North America – Petrochemical Supply Chain & Export Logistics 2016.

On the 1-2nd Dec at the Omni Galleria, over 500 Project Leads at Petrochemical Companies such as; BASF, Sasol, NOVA Chem, INEOS, Sasol, TOTAL, Westlake, Dupont Lyondellbasell, ExxonMobil, INVISTA, Kuraray North America & Yuhuang Chemical, + many more! – will gather to discuss how to optimize the fast-growing Plastic Resin and Bulk Liquid petrochemical supply chains.

Organizers promise this year's conference will be bigger and better than any before, featuring a brand new multi-track agenda which allows delegates to join focused sessions based on their focus in either Plastic Resins or Bulk Liquid.  Additionally, on opening night, delegates will be treated to a networking drinks reception at the Omni Galleria, which will gather the movers and shakers of North America’s petrochemical supply chain market for a party to remember.

Although in its early years, this firmly established conference is well attended by Producers, Transportation Companies (rail, 3PLs, shipping, trucking), Ports and vendors alike, and organizations who attended in previous years have spoken very highly of the format, speakers and topics covered, with Brent Railey, Chevron Phillips Chemical Company saying “The conference is a great opportunity to hear from and meet the key players in the resin export sector: Producers, Warehousing, Packagers, and Trucking companies.”

Building on the success of previous years, the event's organizers aim to focus on topics and issues that are critical to this constantly-changing industry, and to bring together the “most innovative and forward thinking petrochemical producers & transportation companies” who can contribute to new thinking on driving efficiency, reliability and transparency across the petrochemical supply chain.

Mel Pinks, Commercial Director at Odfjell promises the conference will be a “A valuable conference for all functions of the US Gulf reliant petrochemical industry, detailing forward capacity projections and the associated constraints.”
