Kotug Smit Towage has taken the two sister tugs ASD 2913 Rotterdam and Southampton into service for its European harbor towage. The tugs were built by Damen Shipyards.

Recently, the tugs Rotterdam and Southampton commenced their harbor towage activities, starting in the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Zeebrugge respectively.

Both tugs have a length of 29 meters, a width of 13 meters and a bollard pull in excess of 80 tons. The Southampton is equipped with a fire-fighting1 system.
