Heila Cranes Kicks off Construction of n°4 offshore telescopic boom cranes for KOC’s new workboat.

Heila Cranes is proud to announce the commercial agreement achieved with Grandweld Shipyard - Dubai - that has brought to the signature of a contract last June, for the supplying of series of four heavy duty cranes for Kuwait Oil Company, 35m workboat.
 
The four workboats designed by Grandweld Shipyards are currently under construction at Grandweld's yard at Dubai Maritime City.

Heila Cranes’s supply of high specifications cranes certified Lloyd’s offshore in Class. Designed and built according to the class notation LA of the workboat.

The crane is able to lift 20T@10m in Beaufort 4 and 15T@10m in Beaufort 5, with a maximum working radius of 18m.

The supply comes with load monitoring system, audible and visual alarms, operator cabin fully equipped with monitor, joystick, and air conditioner.

A wireless remote control is also provided for emergency operations, Hydraulic power pack water cooled supplied for the high temperature working conditions.

The first couple of cranes are expected for the early 2014.
