Crowley Marine Services Inc. Chooses Helm Marine Operations Software

Edoc Systems Group, developers of Helm Marine Operations Software (Helm), confirmed today that Crowley Marine Services (Crowley) has chosen Helm to manage their West Coast tug dispatch, contracts and billing functions. Crowley's Ship Assist and Escort Services division of Crowley Maritime Corp. operates 15 state of the art tractor tugs in Puget Sound, Washington, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles/Long Beach, El Segundo and San Diego, California.

Edoc, who has been serving the marine industry for the past 15 years, will implement Helm to provide a digitized layer of efficiency to Crowley's dispatching, contract management and invoicing process. The software provides a central system for Crowley to improve communication between departments and increase profitability through more efficient fleet deployment.
