Growth instigates move, Norwegian office opening, and new hires

Veson Nautical, the premier provider of integrated solutions for commercial maritime operations, today announced an expansion of its corporate headquarters and a new office in Oslo, Norway, to accommodate growth of more than 410% over the past five years and 70% in the past year. In May, the company will relocate its corporate headquarters to a larger space at 500 Boylston Street in Boston, MA.

The new office in Oslo is led by two highly experienced professionals in the commercial maritime industry, Tomas Hozman, Commercial Director, Europe and Tone Ekman, Senior Consultant. Veson Nautical is planning for further growth in that office in the near future.

“Veson Nautical now has close to 120 top tier maritime organizations using our Integrated Maritime Operations System, IMOS, to manage their commercial operations. In 2010, we have added nearly 1,000 new licensed IMOS users,” said John D. Veson, President of Veson Nautical. “We have been steadily adding to our team over the past 12 months and plan to continue our expansion in 2011. With a state of the art design, our new space will allow us to continue to attract top talent while tripling the size of our development, QA, and professional services teams. This is the key to maintaining our advantage of having the most modern and advanced integrated Chartering, Operations and Financial system on the market.”

Veson has added new hires in professional services, QA, development, finance, and human resources to continue to provide outstanding service to customers.
