White Glacier to Seas the Moment at Pacific Marine Expo
Ahoy there! Are you ready for your newest, seaworthy personal life raft? Head over to the Pacific Marine Expo, November 18-20 at CenturyLink Field Event Center to witness the hypothermia protective suit that's revolutionizing maritime safety -- the Arctic 25 by White Glacier. Attendees, exhibitors and guests are welcome to try on the suit in an attention-grabbing 1,000-gallon ice water tank exhibition.
The Arctic 25 is fabricated with a patented combination of non-neoprene cutting edge materials that protect victims from freezing temperatures, dangerously cold water, frigid arctic wind, and the effects of hypothermia for over 25 hours. Visitors can pre-order the suit at booth #2603, located in front of the Beer Garden, or on the web at www.whiteglacier.com.
"When people see the term 'hypothermia,' they automatically think extremely cold temperatures. In actuality, protection against hypothermia is essential for all weather conditions -- frigid and warm alike. If victims find themselves in the water for prolonged hours, even the warmest waters can drop in temperature significantly over night, leading to extreme discomfort, pain or hypothermia," says Alan Oshirak, Director of White Glacier.
The suit is designed for users to easily administer first aid, attend to hygienic needs, and eat or drink while awaiting rescue. It can withstand flames for twice the time than what is required by IMO regulations and enables survivors to jump a vertical height of 10 meters unscathed and without sustaining suit damage.
White Glacier recently exhibited at the DSEI show in London, the largest security and defense tradeshow in the world. Thousands of visitors had the opportunity to experience the incredible features of the Arctic 25 suit and sample glove.
