VIKAND Appointed Medical Consultants by FleetPro

Medical management and consulting services provider, VIKAND (formerly, MHG Medical Management Services), announced today that they have been appointed as medical consultants to the fleet of vessels managed by FleetPro Passenger Ship Management, effective January 1st, 2015.   

FleetPro provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of each vessel, ship owner or charterer, while specializing in the smaller ship and expedition sector of the industry.  FleetPro manages and operates a fleet of 67 passenger cruise ships under a combination of nautical, technical, hotel and catering management services. These services include everything from planning, financing, and supervising new ship constructions and refurbishments, to handling port services, vessel sales and chartering activities. 

VIKAND’s extensive experience in the operation of cruise ship medical facilities is critical for providing efficient and effective medical services.  VIKAND’s services include creating customized standard operating procedures, design and layout of medical centers for new builds and refurbishments, medical equipment and X-ray calibration and servicing and formulary management.
