VIKAND Appointed by Windstar Cruises as Medical Consultants

Medical management and consulting services provider, VIKAND (formerly, MHG Medical Management Services), announced today that they have been appointed by Windstar Cruises as medical consultants to their fleet, effective January 1st, 2015.   

Windstar Cruises provides completely inclusive, luxurious small ship cruising aboard four beautiful yachts, with itineraries across the globe.  All staterooms and suites all offer an ocean view, meals are prepared by a premier chef and served in intimate, impeccable style.  Each Windstar yacht welcomes fewer than 300 guests.  Windstar is also growing their fleet and will add two all-suite power yachts early in 2015.

It is essential to work with an experienced and efficient medical services provider who understand the importance of customer service.  VIKAND’s team has extensive experience of cruise ship medical facilities, creating customized standard operating procedures, design and layout of medical centers for newbuilds and refurbishments, equipment calibration and servicing and formulary management.
