Netwave proudly confirms it has received orders to deliver VDRs for 6 (six) Patrol Crafts belonging to a leading maritime law enforcement agency in South East Asia.

It is expected that 2 systems will already be installed and commissioned during the first quarter of this year, the other 4 systems during 2017. The vessels are being constructed at a reputable local shipyard. Budi Axis, Netwave’s contracting partner in Malaysia, will install these VDRs on board the vessels.

It is not mandatory for any naval, paramilitary and law enforcement vessels to comply with the IMO regulations. However, installation of VDRs on board such vessels will enable to aid investigation should any accident or incident takes place or when any specific tasks of the vessels require full back-up of all navigation, engine and communication information. This in order to always be able to analyze the data with the latest release of Netwave’s state-of- the-art Playback software.

The Netwave VDRs are supported throughout the world’s largest VDR Service Network, with over 65 countries, in more than 160 ports, more than 1100 engineers can offer local APT and service support.
