H?egh LNG Selects BASSnet? for HSSEQ Management

In search of the best software solution to manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality – Höegh LNG assessed a total of 17 vendors and BASSnet™ Fleet Management Systems impressed them the most. After a series of workshops, BASS was chosen to provide its software solutions for Höegh LNG and its fleet-operations of floating storage and regasification units (FSRU).

Höegh LNG has previously been using another software solution for its HSSEQ management. With the BASSnet™ solution, Höegh LNG will embrace a holistic approach and manage all aspects related to safety- and risk management, audit- and inspection management, document management, certificates, work & rest hours as well as port management and related reporting.

Höegh LNG’s main objective was to identify a forward thinking solutions provider that would continue to improve its software and innovate in line with modern technology and industry requirements.

In terms of product development, BASS continually enhances its solution in close interaction with a vibrant- and experienced community of prominent customers and highly skilled staff.

As part of the solution, Höegh LNG also selected the BASSnet™ Port Management module. Consisting of the Ports Guide and Port Forms sub-modules, it offers a complete solution for all port-related dealings. The Ports Guide provides data for more than 12,000 ports and terminals, 8,000 tanker berths and over 26,000 port service providers. The Port Forms sub-module streamlines administrative tasks related to port operations with its repository of country-specific port forms.
