GenFlat Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: GFLT) (“GenFlat”), developer of an innovative collapsible marine container system, today announced that it has entered into a contract with SEA BOX, Inc. (“SEA BOX”) to manufacture a Twenty-Foot Equivalent Unit (“TEU”) collapsible container prototype designed to meet strong interest from several branches of the United States military. SEA BOX is a U.S.-based manufacturer and supplier of shipping and storage containers and specialized containerized systems serving military, government and commercial customers.

The prototype represents an important step in GenFlat’s eTorts to bring its collapsible container technology to the U.S. defense and government logistics market and came at the strong urging of several high-ranking military officers for GenFlat to manufacture 20-foot collapsible containers in the United States. GenFlat’s technology is designed to signiXcantly reduce the space and transportation requirements associated with repositioning empty containers by allowing multiple collapsed units to occupy the footprint otherwise required by conventional empty containers.

Under the prototype contract, SEA BOX will manufacture the 20-foot GenFlat collapsible container in the United States, combining GenFlat’s proprietary collapsible container design with SEA BOX’s extensive manufacturing capabilities and experience serving U.S. government and military customers.

In conjunction with the prototype contract, GenFlat and SEA BOX have also entered into a Strategic Collaboration Agreement focused on opportunities with the United States military. Under the agreement, SEA BOX will serve as GenFlat’s exclusive U.S. manufacturer of 20-foot collapsible containers designed, developed, or supplied by GenFlat for U.S. military applications. The collaboration is expected to benefit from SEA BOX’s established government contracting qualifications, registrations and relationships, including those associated with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), General Services Administration (GSA), and other applicable government procurement channels.

“This is an exciting opportunity to combine SEA BOX’s manufacturing capabilities and decades of experience supporting the U.S. military with GenFlat’s innovative collapsible container technology,” said Jim Brennan, President of SEA BOX, Inc. “Military logistics demands durable, practical solutions that can perform in challenging environments. We look forward to completing the prototype and working with GenFlat to evaluate how this technology can support the evolving logistics requirements of the U.S. Armed Forces.”

“SEA BOX is an ideal strategic collaborator as we work to introduce GenFlat technology to the U.S. defense market,” said Matt Albanese, Chief Commercial Officer of GenFlat. “The military moves enormous volumes of equipment and supplies around the world, and empty-container repositioning can consume valuable transportation capacity, space and resources. Our objective is straightforward: demonstrate that GenFlat can help the military move containers more efficiently, reduce the logistical burden associated with empty equipment, and make better use of critical transportation assets. Building this first 20-foot prototype in the United States with SEA BOX is an important step toward that objective.”

“Logistics has always been fundamental to military readiness, and improving the eTiciency of the logistics chain can have a direct impact on operational capability and force protection,” said Admiral Bill Owens (Ret.). “GenFlat addresses a remarkably simple but costly problem: we devote significant transportation and storage capacity to moving empty space. A durable collapsible container designed for military requirements has the potential to change that equation. I strongly support evaluating this technology for use by the U.S. military, and the partnership with SEA BOX provides the manufacturing and government-market experience needed to move that effort forward.”
