Charlie Bussayabuntoon Appointed To Head Wallem Myanmar

To reflect the further growth of our business in the region, Wallem Group has appointed Charlie Bussayabuntoon as General Manager for Wallem Shipping Myanmar.

Charlie will ensure that Wallem’s customers’ interests in Myanmar are well looked after and he will also focus on identifying new business opportunities as the country continues its emergence into the global economic arena.

The Wallem team in Myanmar has decades of shipping experience and this well-established office provides a full range of ship agency and related services at all ports in the country.

Having started his career with Wallem in 2008 as the Commercial Manager for Thailand and Vietnam, Charlie was instrumental in the establishment of the Wallem Shipping Vietnam office. He was promoted to General Manager of that office from 2010 to 2014. Charlie will be based in Yangon and will report to Denzyl Allwright, Managing Director of Indochina.

Aside from ship agency, Wallem also provides logistics services in the region and can offer turnkey project forwarding in Myanmar for heavy and out of gauge shipments. Wallem Ship Agency is present throughout Asia with a network of 49 offices, many of which have been established for more than 50 years.
