Seakeeper Launches Extended Warranty for Gyros

As part of its ongoing commitment to customer service, Seakeeper now offers an optional extension of its base 2-year/2,000 hour warranty on all gyro stabilization systems. Andrew Semprevivo, director of global sales, made the announcement.

New Seakeeper gyro customers have a choice of either extending the 2-year warranty to unlimited hours, or creating a total package of 3 years/3,000 hours. "While our products have a phenomenal track record for quality, some owners simply prefer the extra peace of mind associated with an extended warranty," said Semprevivo. "We stand behind our gyro stabilization systems 100%."

Actively controlled Seakeeper gyro stabilization systems mount within the hull and produce powerful righting forces to eliminate resonant boat roll by up to 95%. Without any drag-producing or damage-prone external appendages, Seakeeper units are equally effective whether a boat is at anchor, slow speed or underway.

Various models fit craft from 35' up to superyachts in either single or multiple configurations. Seakeeper has thousands of gyros installed on hundreds of boat brands worldwide in recreational, commercial and military applications.
