Watch: Russian Submarine Fires Ballistic Missiles

The Russian Defense Ministry has released video of nuclear-powered submarine Yuri Dolgorukiy test firing four intercontinental ballistic missiles from below the surface.

The Borei-class submarine tested the missiles on May 22 in the White Sea during combat training. It was the first-ever firing from this type of submarine. The Bulava missiles are capable of delivering up to 10 nuclear warheads at a range of 8,000 kilometers (5,000 miles).
