Man Dies After Falling Into Hull of Ship at Philadelphia Pier

Police report that a Croatian man died Sunday after falling more than 70 feet into the empty cargo hold of ship at a Philadelphia pier.
The Philadelphia Regional Port Authority has identified the man as 46-year old Denis Seretinek, the chief officer of the cargo ship STARTRAMP.
A crane and basket were used to lift the man out of the hold. Upon rescue he was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
