Paul Anderson Appointed CEO of Jacksonville Port Authority

In an unanimous vote on Friday, Jacksonville Port Authority’s Board of Directors approved the appointment of former Federal Maritime Commissioner A. Paul Anderson to serve as JAXPORT’s Chief Executive Officer. The board is currently conducting contract negotiations with Anderson. The former commissioner was JAXPORT’s top pick after interviews with five candidates.

Anderson is well qualified for the job, having served with the Federal Maritime Commission and most recently serving as president of the International Oil Shipping Company in Boca Raton. In addition he is a former senior fellow of the Transportation and Infrastructure committee.

Anderson also has held positions with JM Enterprises which operates Southeast Toyota at JAXPORT’s Talleyrand Marine Terminal. In addition he served as a senior director with Seabulk Marine.
