Our client is a large global shipping company operating within gas, tanker & offshore sectors. They are currently looking to add a Voyage Manager to their gas team in Glasgow to work in a commercial operations role managing LNG vessels.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable shipping firm with an excellent culture and progression opportunities.

The role involves:

  • Commercial management & operation of LNG vessels

  • Maintaining professional relationships with Charterers, Customers & Agents

  • Performance Monitoring

  • Finance & Cost Analysis

  • Voyage Planning & Management

  • Monitoring all voyages to ensure balance of safety, economics and customer satisfaction

The ideal applicant will be/have:

  • Knowledge of management of LNG vessel operations

  • Sailed on board LNG vessels.

  • Analytical, problem solving, time management and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to prioritise work in periods of demanding work load.

  • Demonstrates teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to use range of IT applications.

  • Attend vessels whenever possible
