Sailors' Society Strengthens Senior Team

Following the appointment earlier in the year of new CEO Stuart Rivers, formerly Executive Director of Enterprise at the Bible Society, the maritime charity further strengthens its strategic team, naming Scot Bower as Director of Media and Advocacy.

Scot joins the Society from UK based charity 24-7 Prayer where he served as Communications and Marketing Director. During his time at 24-7, Scot created rich content, drove strategy for multiple communications platforms, developed award winning multimedia resources and served on the international leadership team. 

Prior to his time with 24-7 Prayer, Scot and his family spent 5 years in Eastern Europe working with churches, charities and mission organizations, coaching leaders and advising on church development strategy.
