The first hour-long webinar will be on July 23rd at 10 a.m. central standard time, and will include presentations by PortVision CEO Dean Rosenberg and the company’s business development director, Robert Kessler, followed by questions.  Rosenberg and Kessler will show attendees how they can provide enterprise visibility to dock and vessel activities, as well as taking a web-based approach to complete management of waterborne terminal docks.

PortVison regularly hosts maritime educational events, actively participates in industry organizations, and also organizes industry gatherings where marine terminal management and operations personnel can discuss issues, brainstorm solutions and network with their peers.  Earlier this year, the company launched PortVision CONNECT, an initiative that includes a $500,000 commitment to fund the development and implementation of web-based solutions to port and waterway safety, efficiency and security challenges.

PortVison’s TerminalSmart™ enterprise platform has been deployed at more than 50 petrochemical refineries, midstream terminals and transportation sites across North America.  The platform and its dock management module enable organizations to use real-time vessel movement data and historical vessel-tracking information for better incident response and to avoid commercial disputes, reduce demurrage expense and gain valuable insights from vessel-related business intelligence.
