Happy Holidays from The Maritime Executive Staff

Thank you MarEx readers for a great 2014 year! We’ve come a long way since the website and newsletter were launched in 1999. The MarEx newsletter alone began with only 1,000 readers and now we have a loyal following of over 85k.

This year we provided breaking coverage of diverse range of maritime news from the Costa Concordia salvage operation to Pirates of the Caribbean Ship sinking. The Maritime Executive also welcomed on Wendy Laursen as our Asia-Pacific correspondent so that we can continue to provide the latest news 24 hours a day.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg. We have recently done a soft-launch of the Maritime Executive website and will be doing a full unveil come January 2015. There are many great things on the horizon for The Maritime Executive and we hope you will continue to grow with us.
