From 5-8 November at Ahoy Rotterdam, Alewijnse Marine Systems will be joining over 1,000 other exhibitors at Europort 2013 to showcase the projects and technology that have given it a leading position in the development of low-emission power generation systems for the maritime sector.

On the Alewijnse stand #1307 in hall 1, visitors will find an interactive and eye-catching display of Alewijnse’s capabilities in innovative and sustainable system integration, including demonstrations of its new power advice application that allows marine engineers to determine the most efficient power system for any vessel, based on its operational profile. Alewijnse engineers will be on hand to offer analysis and insights into the current and emerging technologies that are having a major impact on the next generation of environmentally-friendly vessels.

Alewijnse is also the main sponsor and important participant in the Advanced Technology Conferences being held during Europort 2013. A series of brief, dynamic workshops; these give visitors the opportunity to hear a variety of leading players in the international market present and discuss the latest maritime technology developments.

Alewijnse will be making presentations on its new power advice application, advances in superyacht power technology, and its pioneering work on bringing LNG-electric propulsion systems to inland vessels.

“When it comes to low-emission power and propulsion, Alewijnse has a wealth of experience that is unrivaled in the industry,” said CEO Dick Alewijnse. “Alewijnse projects such as the superyacht Ethereal, the hydrogen-powered NEMO H? and the award-winning LNG-powered Greenstream inland tankers have been important milestones in the development of the new technology. Today we are working together with companies across the maritime industry to find innovative solutions that will make vessels more energy efficient while meeting the individual requirements of vessel owners.

“We look forward to welcoming you to the Alewijnse stand at Europort 2013 and discussing how our expertise can help you both meet the regulatory requirements of the future and achieve appreciable cost-savings”
