Resource Power Group Opens Houston Branch & Workshop

Engine sales and service company, Resource Power Group (RPG) has opened a new branch and workshop in Houston, Texas. Michael Kriner has been appointed as the company’s Houston Branch Manager. The focus of the Houston branch of the company’s large bore engine business will be marine and industrial customers in the Texas and the Gulf of Mexico markets.

The Houston Branch located at 901 W. 13th St, Deer Park, TX is a 24,000 square foot facility that has the following capabilities for large bore diesel and gas engines:

1. Cylinder head, liner, piston, charge air cooler, & connecting rod overhaul and machining for medium speed diesel engines.

2. Turbocharger service and repair for the following turbo types: Napier, KBB, ABB, MET, Garrett, and others. A specialized rotating machinery balancing machine will be used to support this service.

3. Horizontal boring mill, lathes, milling machines, steam / chemical cleaning equipment, and other specialty machining equipment to service your equipment.

The Houston Branch will be home to a group of factory trained service engineers and technicians that is capable to service medium speed diesel engines, turbochargers, and fuel injection equipment at site or on board vessels anywhere in the world.
