Pinky Harris Assumes Helm as Corporate Information Officer at Baker, Lyman & Co.
Baker, Lyman & Co. announced that Pinky Harris will assume the duties of Corporate Information Officer. Ms. Harris will augment her current responsibilities as Baker Lyman's Business Intelligence Specialist with the duties of the TSMS Transition Program Manager, RCP-TSMS Transition Program Manager, and CORSAIR TVR Assistant Project Manager. Ms Harris, whose background is in business management and business intelligence analysis, has been employed with Baker Lyman since 2011.
Baker Lyman along with their partners, Germanischer Lloyd (USA) and TBS, created the TSMS Strategic Alliance during this past summer. Utilizing existing USCG rules under 33 CFR Part 96, Baker Lyman recently rolled out the TSMS Transition Program and RCP-TSMS Transition Program. Each program allows tug owners to become Sub-Chapter M compliant prior to the Final Rule. Baker Lyman is also the developer of the CORSAIR TVR v.2 which is the exclusive TSMS specific compliance software.
Ms. Harris assumes duties which have been created in support of Baker Lyman's leading edge Sub-Chapter M programs and the CORSAIR TVR v.2 software according to Corinne Titus, Baker Lyman CEO.
“Pinky brings an expertise in business intelligence gathering that has given Baker Lyman a huge advantage in such a competitive market”, Titus continued, “Baker Lyman possesses the most current and comprehensive towboating database which includes every AWO member, vessel operator, and towing fleet in the nation. The skill with which Pinky integrated such a large scope of data into Baker Lyman's system has been extraordinary. Only the USCG Misle System rivals our database of vessels and owners.”
“Baker Lyman is moving forward. Sub-Chapter M is moving forward. My job is to insure that our partners, Germanischer Lloyd (USA) and TBS, have the best possible information on workboat market conditions which includes everything from vessel to fleet material condition reports, USCG UTV examination results, and key personnel changes within the industry. Possessing this type of information keeps Baker Lyman on the front end of Sub-M”, Harris said.
