Glander Announces New Fuel Oil Broker

Glander International has announced the recent hire of Gisleide Bitencourt as a new addition to the team as a Fuel Oil Broker.

Gisleide comes from TradeWinds where she worked as an Account Manager in Stamford, CT for the past 2 years.

Working with ship owners and charterers, she was able to build an extensive network in the shipping industry in different markets especially in North and South America.

She is originally from Brazil where she worked for the airline industry before moving to the New York to pursue a maritime education at Suny Maritime. Gisleide graduated with a degree in International Transportation and Trade and is currently studying for her Master’s in Transportation Management.

At the same time, “Gi” (as she is known in the industry) is quite active with numerous industry organizations, such as WISTA, YSPNY and CMA, and will look to continue and extend her shipping network in sunny Florida.

With her educational background, experience in sales and customer service, combined with foreign language skills Gisleide is expected to be a valuable asset to the Glander organization.
