Strong winds delayed nearly 1,300 passengers on the MSC Cruise’s Sinfonia in Cape Town’s harbor from November 28th to the second of December.

The ship’s first cruise of the season eventually left early morning on December 2nd. The Cape Town cruise to nowhere usually caters to South African residents.

Passengers were not permitted to leave the cruise ship even though they remained at the port.  Wind gusts reached as fast as 75 mph.

Passengers were given complimentary drinks, discounts, and vouchers to use for future traveling.
