  • NRC ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF RIVER'S EDGE SERVICES

National Response Corporation (NRC) announced today the acquisition of River's Edge Services and Kemp's River's Edge Vactor Services (River's Edge), privately held remediation, demolition, excavation and industrial services firms based in Kent, WA. NRC will eventually merge River's Edge into their West Coast subsidiary NRC Environmental Services' (NRCES) existing Pacific Northwest operations. River's Edge owner Paul Kemp will assume a new leadership position in the region with NRCES.

"This acquisition provides a number of strategic benefits for both NRCES" and River's Edge's existing clients as well as NRCES as a whole," commented Steve Candito, President of NRCES. "NRCES' clients gain better access to River's Edge's eductor truck fleet and varied heavy machinery arsenal. River's Edge's clients benefit from the broader range of services, particularly environmental services, NRCES provides." Candito specifically noted "NRCES' clients have been looking for us to perform more of our services directly in order to streamline our management of their projects."
