Anderson to be Nominated for FMC Commissioner
President Bush recently announced his plans to nominate A. Paul Anderson to continue to be Commissioner of the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) for a five-year term that will end at the end of June 2012. Additionally, President Bush wishes to designate Anderson as Chairman of the Commission. Before his work with the FMC, Anderson, who received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, worked for J.M. Family Enterprises as Vice President of Public Affairs and Government Relations and for Hvide Marine, Inc. as Director for Public Affairs, Assistant to the President and Marketing Manager.
