Conrad Industries Announces New Contract for Foss Maritime

Conrad Industries, Inc. has announced the signing of a contract with Foss Maritime Company for three 35,000 bbl. double skin barges that will be equipped as bunkering barges for their west coast operations. These 290’x 62’x 18’6” barges will be built at our Orange, Texas facility.

Johnny Conrad, President and CEO stated "We currently have two 26,000 bbl. double skin barges for Foss under construction at Orange and we are pleased that Foss has the confidence in Conrad to award us these additional barges. This brings the number of double skin OPA 90 compliant tank barges currently under construction for Foss to five
barges.”

With double hulls, vapor canisters to process cargo emissions and a gauging system that provides three levels of redundant overfill protection, our expert crews will have the best possible tools to deliver our customers fuel
