Whether you have been put in charge of your Safety Management System or have been formally assigned the Designated Person Ashore role, you will need to know what your responsibilities are for monitoring safety and pollution prevention within your company.

QSE Solutions presents a two-day workshop that provides an overview of the Designated Person Ashore's roles, responsibilities and authority within the company's Safety Management System.

The facilitated workshop offers a combination of in-depth knowledge and a practical approach to provide a better understanding of this critical safety role. It is part of the Continual Improvement Workshop Series developed by QSE Solutions and is geared toward all sectors of the maritime industry.

The training fulfills the classroom training portion of the IMO MSC-MEPC.7/Circ.6 "Guidance on the Qualifications, Training and Experience Necessary for Undertaking the Role of the Designated Person" under the Provisions of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code.
