ECDIS Gives Away CPD Logbook to Top Student

In preparation for the 100^th Top Student of the Month, due to be awarded in February 2016, ECDIS Ltd are giving away their ECDIS CPD logbook worth £95 ($144.90).

ECDIS Ltd award their Top Student of the Month to the student scoring the highest mark for the ECDIS Generic end of course assessment. In February 2016, it will be the 100^th award bestowed. To celebrate, ECDIS Ltd will be giving away a copy of the ECDIS CPD Logbook to ECDIS students between 25^th January and 4^th March 2016. 

Top Student of the Month is unique to ECDIS Ltd and has become quite an accolade, students and their managers often feel proud achieving the highest mark out of all students in that calendar month and to know that they have the highest caliber users of ECDIS in their fleet. The winner is personally congratulated by their lecturer and earns him/herself free ECDIS Ltd merchandise, but more importantly, a spot on the “wheel of shame” mounted in reception at ECDIS Ltd HQ.

The award is sponsored by the Honorable Company of Master Mariners and the winner is announced at the end of every month in ECDIS Ltd’s newsletter and online.

The offer for the free ECDIS CPD Logbook is available to all students attending ANY of ECDIS Ltd’s ECDIS Courses including ECDIS Type Specific on any of the major manufacturers we have in-house and the 5 day ECDIS Generic booked between the dates mentioned.

The ECDIS Continuous Professional Development Log provides the professional deck officer with a practical, career-spanning record of shore and sea-going ECDIS training. While providing evidence of continuous training, these records are supported by two extensive sections containing question and answer aptitude tests for self-assessment.
