NDM Secures Contract with Tersan Shipyard

NDM proudly announced that it has been selected as the supplier of deck machinery to a newbuilding at Tersan Shipyard.

The vessel is a OCV of ST-259 Arctic design for Volstad Shipping. Its main dimensions are 128 x 25m. Through its designation “Arctic”, it is obvious that the vessel is specially designed for operations in arctic waters, with significant ice class, ROV moonpools and de-icing. The vessel is further fitted with a 300t offshore crane, 120 pax accommodation and triple redundant propulsion systems.

For this vessel we will supply the following equipment:

Two (2) off combined windlass/mooring winches
Two (2) off chain stoppers
Four (4) off 5 tons combined bollard capstans

All winches are electrical, frequency controlled, driven and will be delivered to the yard in January 2015.
