Moose Boats Delivers M3-35 Dive/Patrol Boat

December 5, 2013 – Moose Boats, an aluminum boat manufacturer, delivers a
M2-35 Twin Diesel/Water-Jet propelled Catamaran to the Long Beach Police Department in Long
Beach, CA.

The Moose Boats M2 all-aluminum catamaran is powered by twin Cummins QSB6.7 380hp inboard
turbo diesel marine engines coupled to HamiltonJet HJ-292 water jets via TwinDisc 5075SC
transmissions. The vessel features a fully enclosed cabin with three forward facing shock-mitigating
seats with optional standing positions and bench seating for three additional personnel. A workstation
table is provided for one of the shock-mitigating seats utilizing the space below for a weapons and
ammunition storage locker. Deck outfitting includes a heavy duty push knee and tow post with an
integrated line reel.

The M2-35 joins Long Beach PD’s M1-44 catamaran, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s two M2 catamarans
and Los Angeles PD’s M1-46 catamaran and two M3 mono-hulls growing the Moose Boats Southern
California law enforcement vessel fleet to seven boats.

The Long Beach Police Department utilized a Port Security Grant Program award to purchase the
Moose Boats M2-35.
