Leading Thai Maritime Schools Purchase VSTEP NAUTIS Maritime Simulators

Chemstar Nautical School in Bangkok and Kasetsart International Maritime College in Si Racha, Thailand, have selected VSTEP’s NAUTIS maritime training simulators for their training institutes.

The Chemstar Nautical School is a leading institute for maritime education in Bangkok, providing Deck Officer and STCW compliant maritime training for professionals and students alike. The Chemstar Nautical School has acquired a NAUTIS maritime trainer simulator that will be used to provide realistic Bridge Team Management simulation and training for their deck officers, as well as steering practice for cadets working on Thai Flag and other vessels. Chemstar has acted as a center of excellence and demonstration center for NAUTIS simulators during the past year.

The International Maritime College (IMC) is tied to the Kasetsart University Si Racha Campus and educates students in the field of marine science and engineering according to the requirements of domestic and international maritime organizations. IMC is a well-known academic & research centre of maritime education in Southeast Asia, educating students to contribute to the development of sea transportation and other marine industries. At the Kasetsart University International Maritime College, a NAUTIS Simulator including Instructor Station were installed for training of its maritime students.
