Hamburg Süd celebrated the christening of a further container ship in its “San” class. The official naming ceremony of the “San Clemente” was held at the Marina Bay Cruise Center in Singapore, with customers and business partners. The new container ship’s Sponsor is Wietske Willemijn Wage, wife of Niels Wage, Vice President of Marketing Freight & Potash at our company’s customer BHP Billiton.
