ENSCO Chooses Autohydro For Stability

Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) of Vancouver, Canada is pleased to announce a new installation of Autohydro Pro (hydrostatics & stability) software at ENSCO offices in Houston, Texas, USA.

Autohydro Pro and Modelmaker in Action

ENSCO’s fleet (existing and under construction) includes 10 drillships, 13 dynamically-positioned semi-submersibles, 6 moored semi-submersibles and 46 premium jack-ups. Autohydro Pro will be used by their engineering staff in testing, simulating and obtaining Class Approval on all new build projects. Autohydro was chosen by ENSCO as the best hydrostatic & stability software after an extensive review of competing programs in the marine software industry.

The Autoship System CAM/CAM suite consists of Autoship (hull design), Autopower (resistance & power prediction), Autohydro (hydrostatics & stability), Autoplate (plate expansion), Autostructure (internal structural design), and Production Manager (nesting & parts management).
