80:20 Opens New Aberdeen Facility

80:20 Procurement Services Ltd, a Peterson company, has opened a new facility in Aberdeen as part of the firm’s ambitious growth strategy.

The expansion of 80:20’s footprint has created six new posts at new Altens base, with the firm and comes off the back of five contract wins in 2013. It also has the capacity to support future development of the business plan and offers the potential to accommodate up to 25 additional staff. 

The move to this new facility comes after Peterson increased its presence in the North East through the expansion of its quayside operations in Aberdeen, as well as in its facilities in Edzell in Aberdeenshire.

Paul Dorward managing director at 80:20 said: “This new facility represents a significant investment and the beginning of a long-term commitment to the future growth of the business.

“In opening our new warehouse we have created a best in class facility from which we can develop our procurement offering, allowing us  the capability to scale up our operations quickly in support of our growing client base both locally and internationally.”

The milestone was marked by an official opening ceremony, where the firm’s named charity Befriend a Child playing a leading role with seven-year-old Brooke Bryce, cutting the ribbon.
