Key industry Leaders to Deliver 3 State-of-the-Industry Addresses

 

Three eminent thought leaders will provide State-of-the-Industry Addresses at The Fujairah Bunkering & Fuel Oil Forum (FUJCON 2013), to be held from 25 - 27 March 2013, in Fujairah, UAE:-

1. Dr Fereidun Fesharaki, Chairman, FACTS Global Energy (FGE) to deliver the State-of-the-Global Fuel Oil-Industry Address

2. Dr Ali Obaid Al-Yabhouni, CEO, ADNATCO & NGSCO, Chairman, UAE Shipping Association & Governor for OPEC, UAE, to deliver the State-of-the-Shipping/Tanker Industry Address

3. Mr Apostolos Rizakos, Managing Director, Aegean Marine Petroleum SA, New York to deliver the State-of-the-Bunker Industry Address

The Fujairah Bunkering Week to be held from 23 - 27 March 2013 in Fujairah, UAE, will witness over 350 participants from 45 countries, converging from bunkering & allied industries. Bunker buyers, sellers, traders, national oil companies, shipowners, operators, managers, brokers, charterers, refiners, maritime lawyers, consultants, banks & service companies, will renew business contacts & forge alliances over 4 industry events, 11 social functions, 3 site visits and 30 hours of networking time.

Held under the auspices of the Government of Fujairah with the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council & Ruler of Fujairah, FUJCON 2013 will showcase Fujairah's milestones as an internationally recognized Anchorage, one of the world's top three bunkering locations and its transformation into a global oil hub. Under the theme "Global Bunkering, Storage & Trading Opportunities: Balancing Efficiency, The Environment, Commercial Realities & Technology", the conference will also cover burning global challenges faced by the industry today & options to evaluate these challenges, encompassing fuel quality, efficiency, environmental requirements and technology.

Three Pre-Conference Workshops will provide industry insiders with intensive coverage and in-depth analysis on Bunkering Operations, Bunker Disputes and Bunker Fuel Blending, including the impact of new maritime regulations, while providing great learning opportunities with case studies, models, special guest presentations and specially arranged site visits as part of the curriculum.
