EPD Chairman Solarizing First Home in Houston

John Janik, chairman of Electronic Power Design (EPD), was interviewed on local news television for being involved with the solarizing the first home in Houston, Texas. A few months ago, EPD moved into its fully solar-powered 250,000 square-foot world headquarters and manufacturing facility on I-45 in Houston. Consequently, Janik knows about the efficiencies of solar energy.

The first solar home in Houston is owned by Carla LeBlanc, Janik’s sister-in-law. Next up is Mr. Janik’s own home. As a side note, he also owns a fully electric Tesla automobile.
