Superior Energies, Inc. Owner Dies

James A. Scott, was also known as "Jimbo," 60 of Pleasure Island, TX died Saturday, November 3, 2007.

A native of Groves and resident of Pleasure Island since 1996. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served our country in the United States Navy. Jim was the owner of Superior Energies, Inc., Superior Abatement Inc. and GFI Inc. for the last thirty years in Groves.

Jim is survived by his wife; Betty M. Scott of Pleasure Island; sons, Sean Scott and wife Kimmy of Groves; Chad Scott of Nederland; daughter, Stacy Davis and husband Bryan of Groves; grandchildren Ali Scott, Bradley Choate, Blake-Leigh Dockens, Brea Scott, Peyton Davis and Brynna Scott all of Groves. Dad you were a father and grandfather to many and will truly be missed by all. Your light will continue to burn in all of us. Thank you for your wisdom, laughter and unconditional love. I love you and look forward to our last trip on the water together, with all my love Miss Betty.
