BOLLINGER PROMOTES CINDIE ROUSSEL TO VICE PRESIDENT OF PROCUREMENT, LOGISTICS, AND LIFE CYCLE SUPPO

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc., Lockport, La., has announced the promotion of Cindie Roussel to Vice President of Procurement, Logistics, and Life Cycle Support for the South Louisiana based shipbuilding and repair company. Roussel’s new responsibilities will include material and purchasing support and life cycle sustainment for all U.S. Government and commercial new construction programs. Roussel will continue to be involved in the management and future growth of CHAND, Bollinger's technical and logistic support division, and will also take a lead role in the future development and implementation of company-wide procurement initiatives.

Roussel began her career with Bollinger in 1991 as the Integrated Logistics Support Manager for CHAND. She returned to Bollinger in 2003 as CHAND's General Manager, after spending five years with Northrop Grumman Ship Systems as the Technical Data and Training Manager for both Avondale and Ingalls Facilities.

The announcement was made by Chris Bollinger, executive vice-president new construction of Bollinger Shipyards, who said, "Cindie Roussel has earned this promotion by demonstrating her exceptional managerial, technical and people skills to meet continual new and complex challenges. She is a superb leader and a wonderful inspiration to all of us at Bollinger."
