AMAZING TUGS by the Crowley Corporation

Every once in a while a book comes along that captures the imagination of kids and adults who are young at heart. The Crowley corporate communications group has published a children's book about tugboats entitled AMAZING TUGS.

The character "Tugboat Tom" takes kids on an 18-page adventure, showing them different types of tugs doing different jobs?from escorting tankers in Alaska, to moving fuel barges, to assisting container ships, to salvaging a beached ship, to towing structures like oil-rigs, triple-deck Ro/Ro and retired Navy ships.

The soft-cover book features full color illustrations by Craig Johnson and text by Joy Kosola Johnson. Mark Miller developed the concept and edited the book. Copies may be purchased through the Crowley company store for only $5.00 each.
