The five-year deal is worth up to $133 million. Currently, Todd Pacific earns half of its revenues from repairing Navy ships at Bremerton and Everett. The contract follows an announcement by Todd that it was laying off some 500 workers when the Navy decided to cancel a planned overhaul of a large supply ships and decommission it instead. The new contact includes overhauls of four Nimitz-class carriers: UU Abraham Lincoln, USS Carl Vinson, USS John C. Stennis, and the USS Nimtiz.
