Rigdon Marine names Michael Babin, Vice-President- Administration

Mr. Babin?s responsibilities will include the management of the company?s day-to-day internal processes due to his expertise in domestic and international human resources, health, safety and environmental issues, risk management, and quality processes.

"Mike Babin brings an expertise in health, safety, and environmental that is presently demanded in the industry.? added Richard Currence, Jr., Director of Operations, ?He has 15 years' experience in disciplines that are critical to our organization's mission to be the standard-setter for the marine service industry."

Babin recently served as President of The Solutions Group and was Corporate Vice-President for Torch Offshore. He has also held executive positions at Chevron and Dickson GMP International.

In addition to his executive leadership, Mr. Babin has also been an instructor at Tulane University, LSU Medical Center, and Loyola University. He is a member of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, and has served on the board of West Jefferson Medical Center.

Rigdon Marine's first vessel is scheduled for delivery early next year.
