STADT Makes Propulsion Contract with Saab AB

The Norwegian company STADT AS has signed a contract with the Swedish defense and security group Saab AB.

The contract relates to the delivery of the patented electric drive system - STADT Lean Propulsion, to be integrated in one of the ship projects of Saab.  The Lean approach has created an AC drive technology that has unique performance like Stealth noise free, extreme reliability and life time, cost efficient, low weight and compact footprint. 

Hallvard Slettevoll, the CEO of STADT, says that the contract is an important part of their strategy to bring the Lean Propulsion Design also in to the international naval fleets. STADT will have their stand S5-360 at the DSEI in London, 12. -15 September.
